One of my more recent favourite logos. My husband, who is a performing artist, was part of a short film and the producers needed a logo. This was more of a 'for the passion and love of the arts project'. It's also nice to work on something a bit different and not the typical corporate/stiff branding concept. I did not have much time to work on it, but I still wanted to create a visual identity that would, at a glance, show what the company does, but also get away from some of the cliches, especially with a name like Zambezi Motion Pictures, the danger is to fall into the obvious or overly convoluted visual cues. So it is still quite a traditional logo, but using the spiral motif to build the body of the camera, while also visually suggesting/implying a film reel - the logo icon steps over into the realm of the elegant and memorable. #graphicdesign #creative #artist #logo #branding#brandingcoach #brandidentitydesign #africangraphicdesign
